SolarCity: DOE Loan in Jeopardy Because of Solyndra Investigation | Renewable Energy News Article

"Project SolarStrong’s structuring and its review by the DOE has required the efforts of more than 100 people, thousands of hours of work, and more than $3 million of investment by our company and our financing partners over the last eleven months. Halting the project will mean sacrificing more than $1 billion of private investment into economically hard-hit military communities throughout the United States.
It would also mean the loss of jobs we believe the project would create, many of which would have gone to veterans and the family members of our active duty military servicemen and women. We believe that the valuable work done to move the SolarStrong project to completion should not be lost because of the Solyndra bankruptcy."

As long as the BIG cheese and the cheese eaters make honesty and forthright disclosure a second thought, the decisions made by the present administration appear to be costing more jobs than they make. Even in their favored green industries.

Obama's Iftar dinner remarks | POLITICO 44

From apologeticspress.org

After his presidency, but before his election to Congress in 1830, John Quincy penned several essays dealing with one of the many Russo-Turkish Wars. In these essays, we see a cogent, informed portrait of the threat that Islam has posed throughout world history:

In the seventh century of the Christian era, a wandering Arab of the lineage of Hagar, the Egyptian, combining the powers of transcendent genius, with the preternatural energy of a fanatic, and the fraudulent spirit of an impostor, proclaimed himself as a messenger from Heaven, and spread desolation and delusion over an extensive portion of the earth. Adopting from the sublime conception of the Mosaic law, the doctrine of one omnipotent God; he connected indissolubly with it, the audacious falsehood, that he was himself his prophet and apostle. Adopting from the new Revelation of Jesus, the faith and hope of immortal life, and of future retribution, he humbled it to the dust, by adapting all the rewards and sanctions of his religion to the gratification of the sexual passion. He poisoned the sources of human felicity at the fountain, by degrading the condition of the female sex, and the allowance of polygamy; and he declared undistinguishing and exterminating war, as a part of his religion, against all the rest of mankind. THE ESSENCE OF HIS DOCTRINE WAS VIOLENCE AND LUST: TO EXALT THE BRUTAL OVER THE SPIRITUAL PART OF HUMAN NATURE.

Between these two religions, thus contrasted in their characters, a war of twelve hundred years has already raged. That war is yet flagrant; nor can it cease but by the extinction of that imposture, which has been permitted by Providence to prolong the degeneracy of man. While the merciless and dissolute dogmas of the false prophet shall furnish motives to human action, there can never be peace upon earth, and good will towards men. The hand of Ishmael will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him. It is, indeed, amongst the mysterious dealings of God, that this delusion should have been suffered for so many ages, and during so many generations of human kind, to prevail over the doctrines of the meek and peaceful and benevolent Jesus (Blunt, 1830, 29:269, capitals in orig.).

Observe that Adams not only documents the violent nature of Islam, in contrast with the peaceful and benevolent thrust of Christianity, he further exposes the mistreatment of women inherent in Islamic doctrine, including the degrading practice of polygamy.

A few pages later, Adams again spotlights the coercive, violent nature of Islam, as well as the Muslim’s right to lie and deceive to advance Islam:

The precept of the koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God. The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute; the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace; and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat: but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective. The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force (Blunt, 29:274).

Obama says he inherited economic problems - Yahoo! News

Obama inherited a lower debt level… trillions lower… and a lower unemployment rate…nearly half. Chronically, he misses the entire point of even having a president: one who pulls all factions together to deliver resolution to problems, not excuses for personal incompetence.

Obama calls for political will to deal with economic challenges - CNN.com

Not so much so-called ‘political will’ as much as the absence  of presidential impedance will solve this dilemma. One would think, after his tantrum-like refusal to co-operate with anything that met S&P’s proscription for a fiscally responsible budget, that would be obvious and readily deduced.
But then, we did put such gross inexperience and resultant incompetence in the White House in the first place, didn’t we?

Dems Use Downgrade to Amplify Anti-Tea Party Charges - FoxNews.com

But Standard & Poor's Managing Director John Chambers said there's "lots of blame to go around."

He agreed with several officials that the environment in Washington is "dysfunctional," [doesn’t mention the Tea Party which is not an official political party] and said the fact that the dysfunction [the inability of the President and his Democrats to refrain form naming unofficial political parties as culpable…chronic blame-laying beyond the rational] to  put the United States within hours of hitting its debt ceiling was a driving factor in the downgrade decision. The second factor, he said, was the country's "fiscal trajectory."

Simply stated, the President’s inability to cohere the Congress, coupled with the absence of a viable plan to manage a sound fiscal policy resulted in an historic credit downgrade on Obama’s watch. In the corporate world, the shareholders would be demanding that the person at the top step aside and let someone with experience take over…while there’s still time.

The Democrats are either proving that they can’t comprehend the S&P Report as written or that they lack the willingness to tell the truth. Both may be applicable.

Axelrod: This is "a Tea Party downgrade" - CBS News

Alelrod is either a complete liar or he simply can’t read. The S&P report blames the downgrade on the 'Debt to Income ratio' (D/I), as all lenders will view your credit worthiness. It made no mention of ‘debt ceilings’ or ‘brinkmanship’ as it’s motivation to lower the credit-worthiness of the United States. And it certainly makes no mention of any policies held or promoted by anyone in the Tea Party.

However, typically, when the president of a company which is publicly owned allows this sort of thing to happen on his watch, he is fired for incompetence (Yahoo and founder,Wang as a recent example), since it is the mark of a qualified leader to bring opposing thoughts together to a solution. At this he fails miserably, at least to anyone objectively observing what goes in and what comes out. Politics, of course, will twist fact to become fantasy. Hence, the script and cast of the comedy of errors currently being billed in Washington today.

Debt Drama Blocks Out Big Picture on Credit - NYTimes.com

President Obama went to the American public via TV, figuring that if they were sufficiently ignorant of the facts to vote for him in the first place, then they are likely continuing in their ignorance of what’s really going on with the nation's over-maxxed credit cards and what it’s going to do to our country’s credit score. In his own words:

"That's not leadership. That's not going to happen,"

“What I think is underappreciated until now is a possible outcome whereby the debt ceiling is increased, debt default is avoided, but one of the rating agencies feels compelled to downgrade America’s AAA because of insufficient agreement on medium-term fiscal reform,” Mr. El-Erian said.

If the country were to lose its vaunted rating, the federal government, companies, homeowners and innumerable others would see their costs skyrocket — a situation that would certainly send the markets into a downward spiral.

What happened to global warming? - Science Fair - USATODAY.com

Wow….all my expectations that man has caused Global Climate Change are quickly going up in a puff of smoke…I mean volcanic ash.
"What happens in the future depends on the cause of the aerosols," says Daniel. "If it's volcanic, it depends on what volcanoes do. If its sulfur, it depends on what our pollution is."
The paper does not address how man-made versus natural activities contribute to aerosol creation, which they say is a question to be explored in further studies.
As for aerosols' impact on climate models used to estimate future global warming, according to the study, "climate model projections neglecting these changes would continue to overestimate the … global warming in coming decades if these aerosols remain present at current values or increase."
And this comes just weeks after scientists recognize that volcanoes are 100 million times (100,000,000X) more influential on climate than previously understood. Besides clearing the air a bit, to see climate for what it is, this process also discloses “science” for what it isn’t: an authoritative source for knowledge, but rather a systematic process for the alleviation of ignorance. And as such, we have a lot to learn. After all, if we actually knew it all, science –the systematic process by which we relieve ourselves of our ignorance-  would serve no purpose.
And, as the paper points out, natural climate controls will likely dominate, remaining true to climate’s billion year pattern of behavior, where one volcanic eruption can remove an entire season’s warmth. Now that’s what I call ‘influential’.
Man should only hope to have such power. Or not.

It’s Not the Ceiling That’s The Problem; It’s That The Ceiling Is Already TOO HIGH!

Credit rating agencies Fitch, S&P and Moody’s have all warned that without significant deficit reduction being enacted now, the United States’ gold-plated Triple-A credit rating is being reviewed for a downgrade. Significantly, S&P gauges a 50 percent likelihood of a downgrade in the next three months alone.

Why do we pay their salaries? If my TV repairman was this bad at his job, he’d have been long gone. With so much to lose and so much at stake, how does such incompetence gain so much power?

Standard & Poor's placed the U.S. rating on negative outlook on April 18 which meant a downgrade is likely in 12-18 months.

"They are worried they are having these ideological arguments while Rome burns," said Carl Kaufman, portfolio manager at Oster weis Capital Management in San Francisco.

Obama eliminated Pell grants and took over the college grant industry.
The last Republican budget was 2006 when unemployment was 4.6 and the deficit was 168 billion. In 2007 the democrats promptly double the budget after taking majorities. In 2008 the democrats destroyed three million jobs in two months following the minimum wage hike. Then in 2009 Bush never even SAW the budget because democrats were playing shenanigans in an election year and did their best to hide the budget from the public. The budget for 2009 was signed by Obama because it was so late. By 2009 democrats had unemployment up to 8%. Now in the fifth year of democrat budgets the deficit is 1.8 trillion and real unemployment (U6) is at 20%.
And don't forget the democrats forced banks to take bad loans until the system crashed and we got this recession. Lookup Community Re-Investment Act.

Stephen Moore: A 62% Top Tax Rate? - WSJ.com

This should inspire a lot of folks to go ahead and work four days a week to cover the expenses of people they never met.
It comes to mind, from the thoughts of Mr. T. Jefferson:
“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.” — Thomas Jefferson, April 6, 1816

Seems pretty simple when you put it like that. But it’s capitalism. A communist would take exception, by virtue of the core differences in the two philosophies.

CIA Veterans View Usama Bin Laden Death as Payback - FoxNews.com

For decades, now, the al-Qaida leader has been identified as ‘Osama bin Laden’. So common this appellation has been, that it has succumbed to the perennial penchant to reduce his to an acronym: OBL.

Suddenly, as the White House seems to be gearing up for reelection, the loyal and obedient press has now chosen to ignore the time-honored OBL for the renaming of the dead foe, something for which, finally, a peace prize might find merit, as Usama, burying ‘Osama’ along with his weighted corpse at sea. Along with the traditional custom of dumping their dead loved ones into the ocean, as Obama has claimed, countering the outrage from the Muslim community, is it also time-honored traditional affection to rename the dead as well?

Maybe it’s just me but that seems to make the similarity to Obama with Osama, the only difference being the BS, a bit too glaringly obvious. Even my spell checker hasn’t been updated to this latest bit of propagandistically motivated newest spelling. Perhaps it’s because now, we no longer can be sure who the real OBL is, unless we should fear that he has been reborn as UBL. Wait and watch.

Perhaps the next update from MSFT will have this newest spelling inserted surreptitiously into the onboard dictionary; because right now, USAMA is underlined with red squiggles, raising the all-too-obvious questions, hardly blending in, unnoticed, like the insistence from the White House and the president that, prior to the release of his long form Birth Certificate, Obama (not Osama or Usama) didn’t have a long form Birth Certificate. Even Snopes.com had to change their official statement of proof to match the conflicting statement of proof. Sometimes I wonder if the random numbers chosen for the lottery each week have a greater probability of being more accurate than ‘statements released by The White House’.

Weekly jobless claims unexpectedly leap 43K to 474K, highest since last summer - NYPOST.com

Clearly, whoever it is that is in the business of expecting certain results, who finds invariably that whatever the results may be, the one thing they all have in common is that they are ‘unexpected”, should find another job.One where they might expect to be right at least more often than a broken clock. I can’t remember the last time I read a news story about “expected” results. One thing is for sure certain: that my expectation to win the lottery is more accurate more frequently that those who presumably are paid to know what to expect, yet are invariable wrong, nearly 100% of time. Goodness knows, if they were in the medical profession, insurance premiums would be pointless as the insurance company would have to pay all the time for  every policy holder 100% of the time, as they would never get it right. Ever. All premiums would have to reflect 100% of the cost of every conceivable procedure in order for the insurance companies to stay in business.
What nonsense that we, the reading public, should ever take the press seriously on anything. Ever.
Now, was that really unexpected?

How to starve to death with a full pantry? Eat every meal in restaurants and never use the food you already own. Eventually, you will run out of money. Refusing to use what you already have, you starve.

As long as our oil comes from foreign sources rather than from our own supplies, the instabilities of  those governments will lead to the instability of our great and potentially self-sufficient nation as our leadership leads us well…right over the brink. U.S. credit rating outlook lowered by S&P - Yahoo! Finance

Obama's hatred of conservatives and the GOP exceeds his love for America. His ability to bring differing sides together in a united front to save this country from the brink is simply not there. All he can do is to blame the other side. Imagine the president of a corporation doing that in a board meeting. Unable to reconcile the differences, he would be replaced in a heartbeat with someone capable of actually getting the job done. He really must think he is a king, not actually a president, a hired servant of the people with a job to do. He behavior is merely that of a human Chihuahua…nipping at the ankles of anything that comes near enough while barking so loudly, one would think he actually had something to wield. Destruction and inability …along with pooping on the lawn of Democracy… are his only strong points. And like the Chihuahua, everyone thinks he so cute and wants to pet him. Until they get bitten.
Right now, under his leadership and on his watch, the greatest nation in earth’s history is entering the whirlpool at the bottom of the bowl because the guy in charge can’t do the job that needs to be done. Suddenly I wonder if W saw this coming and gladly handed the wheel to this guy, after setting him on a course for the brink of his own destruction, encouraging TARP, knowing that O saw it as a socialist mechanism and simply followed the lead, This way, he would prove to the world that a guy without a resume is really not the right choice for change…unless a change with no hope was what one wanted.

Afghan Violence Spreads Over Terry Jones' Quran Burning - ABC News

This behavior of intolerance and barbaric reaction is what clearly defines Islam as a political machination and not a real religion. The same savagery we see today is that which has kept nations, which submit to Islam, so very much in the dark ages. We are in the twenty first century of man since savage intolerance killed a man, named Jesus, who came in peace. Islam, as a socio-political embolism in teh heart of mankind, cannot allow for progress of man because progress brings freedom and no one would freely choose to be a slave to intolerance.

To ban Islam as the anti-social political disease that it is, which hates all that is not itself,  would be the best thing for America and the world.

Americans see U.S. on wrong track: Reuters/Ipsos poll | Reuters

To allow our possible opportunity to recover economically, while watching inflation, due to rising fuel prices, dampen as a result of the people of Libya wanting to drive their own bus, is not much different that going broke while eating out in restaurants, three meals a day, meanwhile, back at home, the fridge and pantry are stuffed to capacity.

America owns, in the ground on its mainland, more oil than is waiting to be pumped from the ground of all those countries whose civil unrest will drive our own turmoil at home. Will Statue of Liberty be fitted with Muslim burkha?

Does Islam represent systematic, diseased thinking, anathema to the tenets of freedom in the US? And if so, should Islam, as being poison to the American way of life, be banned in this country?

From an Islamic website:

"In Islam, the public veneration of idols and statues is strictly prohibited. This has forced sincere Muslims to develop realistic plans that will aid in the removal of the Statue of Liberty.

"Due to the scale of the task at hand, it is highly likely that rigorous safety checks will need to be employed before the demolition of the Statue of Liberty can commence; thus as a temporary measure, it is proposed that a large burkha is used to cover the statue, thereby shielding this horrendous eye sore from public view as well as sending a strong message to its French creators,"

America is inclusive, but not a dumpster. There are, and should be, limits to the destructive entities that infest  and destroy. Not unlike as an abcess filled with maggots is excised, so should America look to its own health concerns.

“When I was a County Commissioner in Oregon a constituent sent me a tape he shot at a Planned Parenthood production. They recruited and trained young teens as actors to bring their message to the public. Public school teachers organized carpools to get all the children they could to these events. The man that gave me this tape smuggled his video camera into the auditorium and was able to record everything said. The dialogue was written, of course, to appeal to younger teens, and was quite theatrical. They addressed pregnancy, abortion , and drugs, but it was a surprise to me they were advocating homosexuality, as well.
Children were barraged with rhetoric suggesting parents are not your best source for learning what is ethical and moral. The skit started as a word about child abuse, but bordered on Hitler type rhetoric to make the child more attracted to the State for guidance and leadership than their parents.
Different skits sent their message loud and clear to these kids, especially the one about homosexuality. "Your teen years are a time of discovery, so go out and try it!" That is a quote from what was said. I kept that tape for the same reasons the recent tapes were released. People need to know how dangerous this organization is to the fiber of this nation.”

No one should think that Planned Parenthood is anything but a ravenous cancer, devouring what shred of decency is left in this country. Funding PP is like sending money to the death camps of the holocaust. For those with eyes to see, it couldn’t be more obvious.

Why Are We Dependant on OPEC?

We can drill anywhere we choose to on US soil. The factions that want us to remain dependent on foreign oil have their own agendas and expect their own rewards, even to the detriment of the US and the world. They would, in essence, hold the quality of life of a caribou above the quality of life of a human. But that’s another issue.

I expect that, if we were to announce that we will be drilling in all the known areas within US territorial borders for the expressed purpose of severing OPEC dependence, we would see a plummeting of oil prices and a stabilization in that sector of the global economy. The political factions within Muslim nations will continue as it has for 1400 years as they continue to decimate all in their paths, regardless of whether they be Christian, Jew or Muslim. Allah is quoted in the Koran as saying that it is his singular intention to “fill hell with jinn (evil spirits) and men”. To attempt to force democratic principles on a society who’s very Islamic foundation is anathema to peaceful and equal co-existence with other religions, as well as factions within its own, is nothing short of foolhardy; Foolhardy in that such action would show a deep and imperiling lack of understanding of what Islam actually is. Both John Q. Adams and Winston Churchill -and for that matter, Tony Blair- had a very keen respect for Islam. Read what they had to say on the state of Islam after hundreds and hundreds of years of its existence, as well as the conditions of those countries where Islam is predominant. You can tell a tree by its fruit and the politics of Muslim nations in nothing….nothing like the democratic principles we would want to share, even at the expense of our own American lives.

So, drilling our own oil to stabilize our own prices for our own benefit is about the best thing we could do for ourselves and the rest of the world. Competition in product pricing is always a good thing. Though the cap and tax crowd might disagree, and do so for monetary considerations, I would understand. Nevertheless, only a fool goes broke eating in restaurants when his own cupboard is full to overflowing.

Muslim Brotherhood Steps In, but Future Role Is Uncertain - NYTimes.com

"The Obama administration has spoken cautiously about the future role of the Brotherhood, which has long been banned by Mr. Mubarak’s government, saying only that all parties must renounce violence and accept democracy. But one of the few near-certainties of a post-Mubarak Egypt is that the Muslim Brotherhood will emerge as a powerful political force." ~ NYT
According to the tenets of Islam, this statement from our president is akin to telling the KKK that they’re cool as long as they allow black people to join and treat them with respect and diugnity.

Awesome.

It’s no wonder this man garnered a Nobel Peace Prize. He’s just…well….brilliant!
He's actually managed to out-Carter Carter. And that's no small feat.

Speaking of feet, I wonder when they're going to compare Obama's footprint to the infant footprint that was submitted in evidence, affixed to a Kenyan birth certificate with his name on it.

"GM sales surge 23% in January": What's the catch? This is GM—there must be a catch ... Were they less desirable rental and fleet sales? No ... Did GM lard on the profit-sapping incentives? ... Bingo! ... Also: Like other manufacturers, GM counts as "sold" cars that have been shipped to dealers but not bought by actual customers. There were half a million GM cars sitting on dealers' lots last month that were part of the mighty sales "surge"—that's up from a mere 390,000 a year earlier. This increase in parked, unsold cars accounts for the entire January-to-January "sales" increase, no? ... Zero Hedge has a chart. ...

Obamacare: ‘Crime Against Democracy’ – Patriot Update.

This reply was found in a forum on the Patriot Update. I thought it was most illuminating.

“Adding 30+ million people to our medical system is akin to bringing the entire country of Canada (34 million) into our system. Leave all the doctors, nurses, hospitals, pharma, labs, etc. in Canada, just bring all the patients down. Then get on TV and tell the American public it’s a much better plan, and you’re going to love it! What a loser we have in Washington.”

Particularly Amusing

Once I read that the humor lies in the truth of the thing, humorously portrayed. That being said (typed?), I read this just now and it tickled my funny bone.
"...fire can only possibly have been discovered by a conservative unworried by liberal health and safety regulations. Moreover, by learning to cook meat, Early man made it more digestible, meaning he had more energy available to develop not only his “brawnpower” but his brainpower. If Homo Liberalis had gotten his way, fire would have been banned as a dangerous substance, and we’d still be living in the trees, chewing natural, healthy, raw vegetables, burping contentedly, and being ruled by a loud, gossipy matriarchy of Oprahs and Streisands."

Obama’s new, fetching slogan is only part of the inspirational motivator. His “Winning The Future” mantra left out the rest of the phrase “from those that stole it in the first place”.

No wonder his party distrusts him. He’s finally onto the problem and is, at least, pretending to want to do something about. After all, according to the Nobel Committee, ‘only wanting’ to do something is as prize worthy as actually being able to succeed.

Accordingly, "a winning slogan" ,indeed.

ACLU, feds coordinated attack on Arizona crackdown on illegals

If you ever thought that Eric Holder and the Obama administration had anything like integrity and honor as a code to follow, this should certainly dispel that myth. Outright collusion with the ACLU is not that for which our taxes should be paid.

"This is a matter of America's sovereignty and security, and every patriotic American must get involved," said Richard Thompson, president of the Thomas More Law Center.

The organization, a national, public-interest law firm in Michigan, filed a brief in support of Arizona's law.

"If we can't defend our borders from attack by illegal immigrants, in time we will lose our country," Thompson said. "What confidence should we have in an attorney general who, without even reading the law, accused Arizona of racial profiling? Patriotic Americans must show they stand with Arizona in this matter."

After having gone to Egypt to praise the goodness and peacefulness of the Egyptian Muslims rooted in their Islamic faith as commanded by “the Holy Koran”, why on earth would Barack Obama fear that they would be anything other than good and peaceful?

It's cold out there, even for hardy New Englanders - USATODAY.com

MONTPELIER, Vt. — Train equipment froze, cars sputtered, schools canceled classes and cold-weather enthusiasts opted to stay inside Monday as a bitter blast of below-zero temperatures with promises of minus-50 wind chills gripped the Northeast.

The gasp-inducing cold tested the mettle even of New Englanders, who pride themselves on winter hardiness.

In Providence, it dipped to minus 1 early Monday, the first below-zero reading there in six years, the National Weather Service said.

When a planet is warming, there’s really no escape from it. Record breaking cold is about the best indicator of critical warming that there is, according to a consensus of scientists.

When you think about it, “science” is the methodical study of those things of which we are ignorant. Therefore, without ignorance, there is no use for science – it has no purpose beyond relieving ignorance. Therefore, to be a scientist, one must first profess sufficient ignorance to decide to devote one’s life to its absolution. So when we take a “consensus of scientists”, what we’re actually doing is polling the greatest number of those so sufficiently curious about their ignorance that they’ve devoted their lives to it and, as the most consciously aware of their ignorance among us, we should be making decisions according to their latest discovery. And hopefully before they discover that their ‘discovery’ was ignorantly informed and, subsequently, proven to be wrong.

Now that does sound reasonable.

Or we could simply look for proof before making profound declarations.

Hawaii Won't Release Obama's Birth Info - FoxNews.com

Is it really a “conspiracy” to want to see something that no one has ever proven to have seen when it’s existence is essential to the legitimacy of the President of The United States?

In this instance, the governor of Hawaii never said he ever saw the document he declared to set out to find. And his spokesperson calls those that question that which the seeker never claims to have found to be conspirators. That, in itself, sounds like a conspiracy to me.

Android is in trouble

It seems that many lines of code in Android are identical to code in Sun/Oracle's JAVA, Oracle is suing. Maybe that why the shakeup at Google. Poor judgment resulting in yet another stupid move.

HTC is ramping up to make more phones based on Android, perhaps only to find that, down the road,  there is an injunction blocking their sales unless a steep royalty is paid. Could this concern cause consumers to delay a purchase or perhaps, make a different choice altogether? Much like the near-death experience that RIM faced with the patent breach with the Blackberry, when a federal judge was prepared to block all B.Berry use in the US at midnight of the proscribed date. And he meant to do it, too.  Too bad RIM didn’t pay the piper when his fee was tiny, rather than resist until it became a full-blown marching band. And that could be the straw that breaks the camel's back in a competitive smart phone market where companies like Apple are about to find that they've arrived at the steep face of the mountain they set out to own. Now they have to climb it.

But that's just my opinion.
Now we get to see where the bets fall.

BBC News - Tony Blair 'deeply and profoundly regrets' Iraq dead

"And this is not because we have done something. At some point - and I say this to you with all the passion I possibly can - the West has got to get out of what I think is this wretched policy, or posture, of apology for believing that we are causing what the Iranians are doing, or what these extremists are doing. The fact is we are not.
"The fact is they are doing it because they disagree fundamentally with our way of life and they will carry on doing it unless they are met with the requisite determination and, if necessary, force."
Tony Blair gets it: Obama and his policy needs to go. And if Governor Abercrombie of Hawaii is right, there is no birth certificate in the world that will prevent his removal from office if the Supreme court does the right and just thing in the matter. So far, the head of the Elections Board for the state and their governor are right. There is no birth certificate in Hawaii for Barack Obama.

DA: Pa. had ‘utter disregard’ for abortion-seekers - BostonHerald.com

Utter disregard is always the operand when killing a human by aborting it from  it’s mother’s womb is the subject of consideration.
Humans should always be treated as if they were created by God; whether it’s a woman seeking help or a child whose very existence depends on its mother the way the mother was dependant on her own mother.
Humans always deserve respect, regardless of what they have already accomplished or have yet to do so.
No one has a right to deny another the right to a life, even if they depend on you for their very existence.
In some civilized countries it is illegal to fail to stop at the scene of an auto accident.
Humans always deserve repsect.
To fail to do so should always be viewed as criminal.

What's In A Word

What's in a word. The term "abortion" gets used so much that it has become common place in everyday speech and somewhere along the way, lost it's powerful meaning. When it happens in business, people get fired. It's typically indicative of a situation having gotten as bad as one can get.
So I decided to look it up on the website, thesaurus.com. Here's what I found under the heading for "Abortion":

Main Entry: failure

Part of Speech: noun

Definition: lack of success

Synonyms: abortion , bankruptcy, bomb, botch, breakdown, bungle, bust, checkmate, collapse, decay, decline, defeat, deficiency, deficit, deterioration, downfall, failing, false step, faux pas, fiasco, flash in the pan, flop, frustration, implosion, inadequacy, lead balloon, lemon, loser, loss, mess, misadventure, miscarriage, misstep, nonperformance, nonsuccess, overthrow, rout, rupture, sinking ship, stalemate, stoppage, total loss, turkey, washout, wreck

Antonyms: accomplishment, achievement, attainment, earnings, gain, merit, success, win

As we struggle through life trying to make it work, sometimes we need help along the way. Sometimes we go to those we trust to seek counsel and advice. If you were going to ask a trusted individual, in whom you had a measure of confidence, for advice on a matter that you felt was pretty serious in your life, whose outcome could have a lasting effect for many years to come and, should the wrong choice be made, might dictate a future filled with years of regret, how would you want to see yourself as viewed in the light of your decision? Looking at the definition and it synonyms as contrasted by the antonyms, I think its pretty clear how most people would choose. Then, there are those who have abandoned the idea that actions -choices- have consequences. Some refuse to take responsibility for their actions and seek support and comfort where they can find it. I believe that too many have found that comfort in being identified as one whose decisions result in things like abortion , bankruptcy, bomb, botch, breakdown, bungle, bust, checkmate, collapse, decay, decline, defeat, deficiency, deficit, deterioration, downfall, failing, false step, faux pas, fiasco, flash in the pan, flop, frustration, implosion, inadequacy, lead balloon, lemon, loser, loss, mess, misadventure, miscarriage, misstep, nonperformance, nonsuccess, overthrow, rout, rupture, sinking ship, stalemate, stoppage, total loss, turkey, washout, wreck. Too many get this advice from organizations like planned Parenthood which offer failure as the action to which their clients should most closely identify. That is, is the thesaurus and dictionary haven't lost all value in a society that has progressed more towards Alice's Wonderland than Thomas More's Utopia. Never underestimate what people will do for money. Never be shocked at how our country suffers from people who have abandoned any sense of value in themselves because those in whom they place their trust have failed them, as people, so miserably. Never be surprised that Planned Parenthood has found a rich and fertile marketplace in the poorer communities throughout America.
Planned Parenthood hasn't grown to raise the self-view of the poor.It has come to enrich itself, capitalizing on those who would agree that their lives are an abortion. planned parenthood just encourages them to continue to believe it.
American taxpayers financially support an organization that perpetuates failure in society by perpetuating choices that can only be defined, in dictionary terms, as "failure", synonymous with "abortion". Not all doctors went to med school to help others. Some just went there for the money.

By Dictatorial Order

Mr. Obama pays no attention to the majority of the voters. By using EXECUTIVE ORDERS, he will go around Members of the United States Congress---both Republican and Democrat,
according to an article by the United States Justice Foundation. He doesn't need your opinion or approval anymore than he thinks he's employed by you to preside over a capitalistic, democratic republic.

His behavior would suggest he is here to destroy it,
either by design or through incompetence.

Obama's State Dept. Removes Mother, Father From Passports

How do you get the people to accept and then want a State controlled life? By first eliminating any other family connections.  This is most easily done by devaluing life through at-will child-killing by getting you to think its a good thing to authorize a doctor to kill your unborn child. This devalues life, even that of your child while desensitizing you from caring about all other life. If you can give up your child to the hands of one who would, for money, kill it, then what would keep you from agreeing to the deaths of anyone else for the sake of the "common good" most often rooted in The Three C's: convenience, comfort and cost. And if you don’t care about your own flesh and blood in the form of your child, it’s a lot easier to dump your feelings for parents and siblings as well. Presto! No more family and "family issues" and those messy "family feelings".

Next, declare the cost of caring for your family to be in a “crisis” state. Then declare the State to be the party responsible for eliminating your crisis-fueled anxiety and dilemma, sharing the load by making everyone, i.e. the State, responsible for your happiness. This is easily done by carefully, strategically and persistently changing the ground rules. Obama masterfully does this by seeming to recite the Constitution while actually misquoting it. Unless you do your own research or have it committed to memory, you might not notice that what he is doing is taking away authorship of your life from you and God and replacing it with the State. Suddenly, your happiness becomes a  State -granted right rather than the pursuit of that happiness being the right which was granted by God. It has now become the happiness which is to be administered, rather than protected by the State. Once they’ve firmly established and accepted that the State is responsible for your happiness, then you have given them the authority do determine what level of happiness your life merits.

Voila! Allow me to present to you the goals of...

The Obama Administration!

Giffird and Palin. Who's to Blame?

Now the press is suggesting that the graphics used in a political strategy map on Palin's website might have inspired the attack on Ms. Gifford as she met with her constituents in a supermarket parking lot.

Think about it, sanely, for a moment.

"Set a target", "Hit the target", phrases commonly used in sales meetings, bankers meetings and children's hospital planning committees. Now picture what that phrase would look like graphically.

"Set your sights", Now picture what "your sights" looks like as a graphic.

"Attack the problems" now visualize an attack as an image.

"Walk softly and carry a big stick", the famous quote of the famous liberal, T. Roosevelt, as it was decided to change the name of the Progressive Party to the Bullmoose Party so as to obscure the socialist nature of the party as it was. Now imagine how the "big stick" could ever be used to an advantage. That's right. It only works when you club someone with it, using physical harm to force them to submit to your will.

Since ultimately, no law or government has any power beyond its ability to inflict physical harm through weaponry of some sort (even incarceration requires the use of weaponry to be successful), to speak in terms that reflect that truth, inherent in political rhetoric for a very long time (ask King George III about how that works out) should shock no one of any maturity or honest character that is willing and able to understand the very nature of political dominion:
Those that win set the rules for those that object.
It's called Democracy and those who live under one simply agree to abide by the rules. But every now and then, someone decides that the rules no longer apply to him. Some decide that they are above the rules; that the rules are for others to follow.
This has nothing to do with the rhetoric and everything to do with the character or mental state of the individual.

So we shouldn’t forfeit our own maturity while giving in to the easy and obvious reaction as to blame the weapon for the intention in the heart of the killer. Without the weapon and its imagery, there would be no rule of law. As one of the brilliant thinkers behind the intent of the Constitution noted,

“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.

Thomas Jefferson

Parent One, Parent Two to replace references to mother, father on passport forms

"The State Department has decided to make U.S. passport application forms "gender neutral" by removing references to mother and father, officials said, in favor of language that describes one's parentage somewhat less tenderly. "

Somewhat “less tenderly” and a lot less accurately. First there is the repeal of DADT, where military personnel can now be “openly gay” while in service. What on earth could that possibly be? Does that mean that the parade of tanks will now include a float of confused men in pink camo? Will the PFC kiss his lieutenant when sent off into combat? Somehow, "openly gay" in a military setting just seems like an oxymoron. Gay in the military should be unknown unless the soldier is being sexually demonstrative, which is already inappropriate and not allowed. So how, under such existing guidelines can "open gayness" be expressed? The next year should prove most illuminating if not perversely entertaining. But without this first step of national acceptance the "gay marriage" will have a very step hill to climb. And so, repeal DADT and now it's just another step in the program of capitulation for anyone who is accurately cognizant enough to see "gay marriage" for what it is: a counterfeit, being foisted on the majority of the public by the minority of the emotionally misaligned .

The gay agenda can never advance at all without, first, the removal of truthful accuracy in favor of euphemisms that camouflage the truth. Accurately, the 'gayness' of gays isn't really gay at all. It's a lot more like 'bitter, vindictive, spiteful, jealous and bitchy' than 'happy, glad, joyful, mirthful and pleasant'. The anti-social decay and destructive hatred of self and society, which is the hallmark of the gay movement, becomes way too obvious to be accepted by any society that isn’t already so inebriated that it no longer cares what is going where. The 'in-your-face' revolting character of the 'Pride' festivals makes that all too obvious. How could anyone feel true pride in being singled out -no- singling oneself out as a freak? Pride in being a freak is nothing short of an Alice in Wonderland experience of 'up is down, black is white, in is out' opposition to the truth of the matter. Without euphemistic denial of the truth, all would be plain and homosexuality would be viewed as the aberration that it is.

So now we need a State Department that is afraid to admit that, without a mother and a father, a human can’t come into being. "Parent One and Parent Two" implies that some dodo thinks two men or two women are actually capable of producing offspring. A complete denial of the biological scientific truth, yet they will be the first to complain that Creationism isn’t scientific truth. Those that are atheistic, that is. Those that claim to be religious must first deny the truth of their religious scripture, substituting fantasy, before they can proceed to deceive themselves about the just rewards for their chosen behavior, if not, for them, their normal mental state.

I am, once again, reminded of the telling Reagan quote:

"We're at war with the most dangerous enemy that has ever faced mankind in his long climb from the swamp to the stars. It has been said that if we lose that war, and in so doing lose this way of freedom of ours,  history will record with the greatest astonishment, that those who had the most to lose did the least to prevent its happening."R. Reagan

Why Do Liberals Want Conservative Mexicans to Vote?

Looking over the heads of the multitudes that might obscure the view, one can see the force behind this whole agenda of amnesty, for those in this country illegally, is one whom some claim is in this country illegally. Amnesty for one illegal alien is amnesty for all. Somewhere I recall reading that the moral compass of the Mexican immigrant, regardless his legal standing, is more conservative than liberal. They tend to give birth rather than hire a doctor to kill their unborn child. Neither would ‘gay marriage’ sit well within their ethnic community. The liberal’s notion that they are increasing the liberal vote by opening the doors to historically conservative aliens might be a blindness rather than a vision. And since this awareness of the tendency for Mexicans to think (and likely vote) conservatively has already been postulated and discussed in blogs and editorials, why would a liberal administration want to push for their amnesty? Why would the Administration, at the direction of the President, sue the State of Arizona for trying to block the flow of foreign nationals from invading their land?

It's Like Magic!
Is it because amnesty granted for the multitudes would also be amnesty granted for The One?

Bomb hits Egypt church at New Year's Mass, 21 dead - Boston.com

The New Year’s message from Islam: “In the name of peaceful relations we will kill you all!” At least that’s the message we get from any Muslim who is doing anything publicly. And denouncing these barbaric actions is not forthcoming in any significant way from "the “peaceful Muslims”

As Islam grows, non-Muslims die. America should expect the same as this practice is centuries old wherever this primitive cult is allowed to flourish with no sign of changing. Europe is rife with it.

Get rid of Islam or expect a violent end.
