Court allows use of fake Social Security Number

As shocking as this all appears, it is not new. Feeling that this was reminiscent of something that I’d read, a little research revealed this:

What sorrow for those who say that evil is good and good is evil, that dark is light and light is dark, that bitter is sweet and sweet is bitter.

So, if I'm on a journey and using a map, the more times the map gives correct direction, the greater my confidence in that map's rightness and usefulness. Some say the Bible is a map to real and lasting happiness. Many have demonstrated that to be the case. Likewise, I see many who reject the Bible and live miserably. Yes, some have many material things. Things that go out of style or break, or simply and predictably, become “old news”  Lasting, deep, abiding, genuine happiness? Not so much. They tend to speak with angry words of condemnation but never condemn anything that is generally considered evil but, rather condemn those who would try to do the right thing; people who would use the teachings in the Bible as guidance or at least principles rooted in its precepts.

Today I am seeing injustice bordering the insane more and more. When the President of the US sues a sovereign state for enforcing its sovereignty I see injustice dispensed by the “Justice Department” Not unlike going to the hospital with a problem and being given a disease for your trouble. What is making this country so sick is in fact, a disease. And I wont be the first to call liberalism a disease. I believe Michael Savage wrote a book on the subject. But then again, he wasn’t the first to do so either. See the verses listed above.

Of further note, several years ago msn.com had featured an article regarding the utility of multiple users of Social Security numbers. The utility, so it went, is entirely to the advantage of the Social Security Administration. In so far as Congress has unfettered access to the monies collected  by our system of taxation, and seeing that the tax refund is payable to only one taxpayer, to allow multiple withholding from income earned by the many uses of a given number, produces a windfall of taxation without any obligation to refund the, technically, overpaid amounts to the many individuals using that number. The Social Security Administration makes no secret that there is very real risk that others are using your SSN, yet they offer no remediation on their part. It would be counterproductive to their aim to do so. Obviously.
