To Infinity and Beyond!

As was pointed out by Rush Limbaugh, James Carville, the great left wing political seer-genius, wrote is his book with regard to the Obamanation that was at large, "Republicans have no hope of making serious inroads into Democratic advantages in 2010, or likely in 2012 and 2014 and so on. It's time to call TOD (time of death) on the GOP."

Even, as Albert Einstein postulated, if one were to travel in a straight line through infinity, taken to the limits, it would bring the end back to the beginning, hence the figure eight symbol representing this theory: ∞, wherein the two ends of a straight line, being bent/warped by the space-time continuum, will eventually meet up again.

And so, too, will James Carville meet up again with his future self, Buzz Lightyear. Or do I have the wrong movie character. maybe I do. Buzz was a Good Guy. Deception is more the style, I think.

How can a supposed political writer be so completely and totally wrong, proven to be so absolutely wrong in such a short span of time, and still retain his job... as a political writer? Political theorist, often-proved-wrong,  -perhaps. But then, as is often seen to be the case, when the left speaks, it's usually a lie or some gross distortion of the truth. The theory there is that, as with all truisms, say it enough and people might just start to believe it. Well, it appears to have worked on Obama. When asked if he thought the tidal wave of Republican take-back was

an indication of a threat for Obamacare, since so many Republicans ran on the plank of repeal, without enough time to craft a lie, he spontaneously responded:

"Well, I know that there’s some Republican candidates who won last night who feel very strongly about it. I’m sure that this will be an issue that comes up in discussions with the Republican leadership. As I said before, though, I think we’d be misreading the election if we thought that the American people want to see us for the next two years relitigate arguments that we had over the last two years."
The fact is, Mr. Obama, if you would just sign the repeal bill, as your employers, the American People, obviously want you to do -think of it as one of those "shovel ready" projects you so frequently referenced-  it shouldn't take two more years. Maybe two more months you could get the job done. Liquid Plumber® will clear a clog in 15 minutes. I'm also pretty sure that "Joe The Plumber"  (you know the type: achievement-focused Americans) could rid the plumbing in Washington of the slime that blocks the free flow of American success in as much time. The vote on November 2, 2010 certainly made that clear. Just don't listen to Carville. He'll clog your thinking even more. And if you drag your feet on this, next thing you know, people will calling the Democrats "The Party of NO". And you can't let that happen.

And a little note to Barbara Boxer: The president's response, quoted above, was to a reporter who called the President "sir". And unless Obama was trying to continue with his program to further denigrate the presidency, as he did in bowing to foreign dignitaries, he didn't stop the proceedings to insist upon the assertion of a more lofty, ego-boosting title. But, perhaps that's because he didn't have to work as hard to get where he is. I'm just saying.

In the end, her mentality is consistent with the liberal attitude that with their sense of having a superior intellect should also come power and prestige, all of which should be admired and reverenced, as the ancients did of their gods of old. They lose sight of the fact that they campaigned for and succeeded in being chosen (Pick me! Pick me!) as servants. Imagine a waiter, similarly hired to be of service, taking exception because he was referenced as "waiter" instead of "garçon". Yet, as we come to understand how the liberal mind works (you call that working!?) we better understand how Obama could view a trouncing yet see an invitation to "fine tune" the most egregious offence that caused the trouncing in first place: usurpation of our American liberty.

Dr. Jeffrey Baker has no problems with his eyesight. His article on Congress.org should be inserted into all American History classroom study materials and textbooks. It is this very degree of clarity that is no visibly absent in our Capitol today, starting in the White House.

Puyallup Tea Party Day: Dhimmitude

Puyallup Tea Party Day: Dhimmitude

I found this post on a blog related to the TEA (TaxedEnoughAlready) Party to be insightful and accurate.
It's well worth consideration.

Respect Your Elders If Only For Selfish Reasons

Interesting to note that at one time, the driver was as young and carefree as the kids working their magic and skill on their skateboards. And one day, he will also be the one moving slowly while the younger wait for him to pass, hopefully, with patience. It's curious to see in this vignette, the three stages of life, captured in one, somewhat connected, setting.

It would be good if our lawmakers remember this when they consider the next steps they take to fix the damage they've done, by their pilfering, to our Social Security system.

Some of My Favorite Reasons Why a Second Term Will Just Not Do.

Obama did not throw!

Mrs. Emperor looks embarrased for him. Sad.

Feeling screwed?

The guy on Obama's right looks as if he didn't anticipate this unimaginable gesture and was preparing to take Barry out for what might have been seen as an assault on the king.

But... HE HAS MAGIC!

Just No Sense of Propriety.

The question: Is it prudent, at this time of our economic travails,  to spend this amount of money, hundreds of millions of hard-earned, tax payers' dollars, approximately enough to hire 30,000 teachers, just to protect Barack Hussein Obama, The One Who Bows, on a trip that isn’t necessary, just because they believe so many people want him to meet his Maker, face to Face?
Barack's Three
He could have stayed at home, saved all that money that belongs to the taxpayers for better purposes that serve the taxpayers, while still having just as many people fantasizing his arrival in heaven.

I guess it’s easy to blow through a wad of cash when it isn’t your own. Very few people who win a lottery have any of the winnings ten years afterwards. It appears that with Barry’s approach, his lottery win is no better defended.

Other People’s Money will always be
Other People’s Money.

It would appear that the all-too-predictable left–leaning press can follow Nancy and Barry’s lead in declaring the firemen who have come to the burning house as being a nuisance, despite how much this country is in a time of need.  Yes, I suppose if you intend to burn the house to the ground, that would be a fair characterization.

If ever I happen to encounter one who is hard on his luck (or her luck, as the case may be) and it would be obvious that giving them money would ease the pain of the moment, I ask myself, “Are they better off with the fish, or should I teach them how to fish?” That is to say, should I further burden them with increased debt for which they have no plan or means to absolve, or should I help them establish conditions that would alleviate the circumstances of their plight and show them a path to sustainable prosperity? Should I give them free access to other people's money, day by day weakening their abilty and drive while increasing their indebtedness, or would they be better off if I helped to create market conditions that allowed them to pull themselves up in a sustainable way with a sense of excitement, rooted in their own future's envisioned prospeirity?

Under the leadership of BHO and Nancy Pelosi, the Democrats have repeatedly sought to provide the fish while taxing fishing gear beyond affordability with a price tag that would bury our grandchildren in insurmountable debt. And all in the name of “helping”, they seek to dole out even more fish with the result of driving up the cost of fish through inflation. Then there’s the genetically engineered fish that make you feel full but leave you empty so much sooner. And still, the only ready source of fish is the hand that feeds, so no one wants to bite it. No one, that is,  but those Republicans who think they should be signing folks up for some fishing lessons. And, even as the Fed drives a $600 BILLION DOLLAR stake into the heart of recovery, creating holographic currency in the guise of easing the pain, suicide might not be the only solution.

But then, suicide just might appear to be a solution to those Democrats here in Washington State who thought it prudent to pass legislation, a while ago, that would allow for a person, in dire pain, believed by some to be terminal, to proceed to hasten the dying, all for the sake of “dignity”. “Death With Dignity is the call to such cowardice. Honestly, I see no dignity in surrendering to a challenge, even it it is perceived as insurmountable. Pope John Paul II comes to mind, having made that public statement, that life is sacred and worht keeping to the last. He did it, so loudly, through his example at his own passing. Imagine the country this would be if all of those on whom our security rests, were to adopt this moral fortitude as that of the nation.

In recognition of society’s respect for the heroes of our history, there have been commemorations of their valor in battle. All those statues that grace numerous public spaces, hail the fallen heroes of old by placing them upon a horse, reared with both front legs aloft, signifying that they died, not in submission, but trying to win. There is no model to honor those who gave up, surrendered and died at their own hands, heads hanging in utter despair (and I do truly pity them), all in the name of Dignity. There really is no model for public recognition of this type, an honorific of the Absence of Valor. Unless the utter absence of anything to commemorate them is how one salutes The Nothingness of Surrendered Failure, rooted in fear and doubt, the fruit of which is utter emptiness. With friends and family at one’s side.
But I digress into the character and motivation of those that would Control Everything. As they have once believed was the prerogative of God, they now usurp, in denial of His existence, either through their words or, usually, their actions.

And so the Democrats will move forward in our next and 112th Congress to show us the way? Will they show us how cooperation is achieved? Will they be the shining example of bipartisan teamwork? Or will they, perhaps inspired by their own jealousy that the Republicans saw through them, walk out of negotiations, as they have in the past, becoming the new Shining Example of the Party of NO?

Fortunately, after hearing tonight's press meeting, it's become clear, he wants to play ball.

Now, if only he can learn to do that.

Mistress of Deception - Self Deception, Maybe?

Nancy Pelosi either doesn't get it or thinks the voters are too dumb to know what just happened. Rather than congratulate the success of her opponents, she goes deep into her war chest of rhetoric and spews the same old tripe, as if saying it makes it so. Unbelievable!

"Over the last four years, the Democratic Majority in the House took courageous action on behalf of America's middle class to create jobs and save the country from the worst economic catastrophe since the Great Depression.
"Our Members and candidates ran remarkable campaigns led by the superb leadership of DCCC Chairman Chris Van Hollen.
"The outcome of the election does not diminish the work we have done for the American people. We must all strive to find common ground to support the middle class, create jobs, reduce the deficit and move our nation forward."
Does she not realize that the reason the Dems lost is because the people DO NOT want them to do any more of the stuff of which she's so proud? In fact, they voted in Representatives to undo the bloody mess before it gets any worse. Repeal her "greatest achievement":

Obamacare!
(Vote for it and then you can find out what's in it-care)

Yet she vows to continue to, in effect -  muck it up. She says,
"The outcome of the election does not diminish the work we have done for the American people."

Nancy, the outcome is precisely because of what you did TO the American people!
With eyes wide open, you just don't get it, do you?

What a maroon!

Bring your earnings Here, at Once !
      arack                              ussein          bama

Barack Hussein Obama complains that the Warren Court didn't interpret the Constitution in a such a way as to justify taking money from those that earn it to give it to those that don't. This wouldn't be so much an "interpretation" as it would be a "rewriting" of the Constitution, in as much as the primary author of the document was deliberate and emphatic about what that document delineates.  Obama's views are diametrically opposed to the precepts put forth by the Framers of the Constitution.

To get anything else from that document is not "interpretation". It's called "hijacking". If for no other reasons of birthplace, Birth Certificate, citizenship in foreign countries, travelling where Americans were fobidden to travel, sealed records of all kinds, adopted by foreign national, thereby losing any potential American citizenship - aside from all of those possibilities - this position of denying the right to keep what you earn, alone, defines this man as
Not-American.

As if he were present to hear Barack Hussein Obama chastise Joe The Plumber's success, seemingly in direct response, the primary author of the Constitution took this view:

“To take from one, because it is thought his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers, have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, the guarantee to everyone the free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.”
Thomas Jefferson, April 6, 1816
